Joseph A. Iorillo
Joseph A. Iorillo was born in Rye, New York May 5, 1914 and lived on
228 Central Ave
. Living with his Father, Dolorato, mother Maria, brothers
John
and
Dominick
. The family owned the home that cost $2,200 ($41,800 in current day payment).
His father and mother were both born in Italy, while all three boys were born in New York. Growing up in Rye, he and his family were members of the Church of Resurrection. Joseph enlisted and served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Joseph A. Iorillo, of Rye, NY, on February 24, 2006 at age 91. Joseph was born in Rye May 5, 1914. He was a veteran of WWII and later a custodian for Rye Schools. He is predeceased by his wife Catherine (nee Groglio) Iorillo. Beloved uncle of Joann Schmorr (husband William) and John Iorillo. Also survived by many loving great nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by brothers: Dominic and John Iorillo. Family is gathering on Monday morning at 9 am at the Coxe and Graziano Funeral Home. A Prayer Service will commence at 10 am, followed by an entombment at St. Mary's Cemetery.
